An A/E team was contracted to design a new fire station on a 1.9-acre lot for Vernon Township. The new station is approximately 14,000 SQFT facility with three apparatus bays, offices, and living and sleeping spaces for on-duty fire fighters. Living spaces include an exercise room, a kitchen and dining area, restrooms and showers, a locker room, sleeping quarters, and a day room. Specialty spaces include PPE storage and decontamination room off the bay to limit the spread of contaminated equipment. AEC-ME was responsible for the design of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for the new Vernon Township Fire Station 432.
