Lisa Huang, PhD, PE, RCDD | President
After more than 10 years at large engineering firms, Lisa Huang founded Advanced Engineering Consultants – Mechanical Electrical (AEC-ME) in 2009. She had a clear vision: to provide high-quality, client-focused engineering design services.
Since then, Lisa has led the firm with over 30 years of experience in electrical engineering, project planning, and project management. Her leadership is driven by a commitment to both technical excellence and personalized service. Lisa is a Senior Electrical Engineer and is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD). She also holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University. She is widely respected for her integrity, precision, and deep knowledge of complex electrical systems. At AEC-ME, we are proud to be a certified Indiana and Indianapolis Women’s Business Enterprise (MBE) and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE).
In addition to her professional work, Lisa is involved in the Ohio Women Organization. Outside of work, she enjoys golf, table tennis, and playing the Erhu, a traditional two-stringed Chinese instrument.
Michael Billig, PE | Principal
Michael Billig brings nearly 30 years of experience in mechanical engineering, project management, and client development to Advanced Engineering Consultants – Mechanical Electrical (AEC-ME). His extensive background includes delivering engineering solutions for complex projects in the healthcare, life sciences, higher education, federal, and municipal sectors.
Specializing in both renovation and new construction, Michael provides strategic mechanical engineering solutions for building systems that prioritize energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. He collaborates closely with clients and project partners to align engineering strategies with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
Known for his commitment to excellence and strong relationship-building, Michael delivers high-quality, client-focused mechanical engineering consulting services.
