AEC-ME provided engineering designs for renovations to the first-floor emergency department at Rush Memorial Hospital. The renovation involved updating the nurse station, corridors, and several surrounding exam and triage rooms. Additionally, the waiting room was enclosed and a new entrance was created. The AEC-ME team worked with facility to design and phase construction so as to maintain operation of the ED due to critical nature for Rush County residents. AEC-ME prepared construction documents for updates to plumbing, power, lighting, and HVAC systems.
