AEC-ME provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design services for the Purdue Hicks Undergraduate Library Renovation.  The project involved relocating HVAC lines to accommodate ceiling changes and upgrading of interior power and telecommunication systems.  Adjustments were made to the fire protection system to accommodate ceiling changes.  Plumbing fixtures and systems were added and removed as well. The basis of design for the electrical and mechanical systems emphasized safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
