Indianapolis International Airport, Boiler Replacement and Upgrades
AEC-ME prepared construction documents and cost estimates to rebuild existing Boilers 3 and 4 at the Indianapolis International Airport. The team performed an assessment of the existing boiler systems, calculated steam demand at the facility, and considered options for temporary boiler units to support the facility during construction. Following this assessment and initial designs, the team determined options. After comparing options, the design and owner team determined to permanently install the temporary boiler. Construction costs equated to $10.2M.
