AEC-ME completed engineering services to upgrades the electrical service to the BL148 Music Center. The Indiana University Music Upgrages included replacement of the existing service switch, capacitor bank, 480V transformer bank, 208V transformer bank, 480V distribution gear, 208V distribution gear, and 480V MCC. AEC-ME & IU worked closely in coordinating equipment type and lead times as equipment will serve new Music Center expansion & renovation project. A new 2-hour rated electrical room was designed for the new electrical gear. Mechanical engineering was included to temper space temperature in new electrical room. AEC-ME was responsible for all electrical and mechanical engineering for this project.
