Indiana University Health (IUH) – South Support Building (SSB)

A transformational project for IU Health & Methodist Campus. This new facility just south of Methodist encompasses all that goes into and out of the +/-2,000,000 SQFT new hospital. AEC-ME’s project included 1,100,000 SQFT and approximately 2,700 parking spaces. The 8-story building has 7 stories of above-grade parking and 52 EV charging stations with future capacity of 40 more chargers. The lower level includes loading docks equipped with a parking guidance system that serves commercial semi-truck and box trucks. Lighting includes smart technology to aid drivers with available parking in aisles and floors. Additionally the building houses the pharmacy entrance, medical gases, morgue, and exact patient room for staff training. The project construction costs are approximately $155M. This project is in construction.
