As part of the Hickory House Recovery Building Assessment Project, AEC-ME assessed and evaluated seven long-term rehabilitation center buildings. The intent was to convert the buildings into adult drug recovery centers. Our combined team assessed the existing building structure and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing/fire protection systems, code review, and ADA compliance review. AEC-ME provided MEP/FP recommendations for the various systems to support the planned new Hickory House Recovery centers.
