AEC-ME was selected to prepare construction documents for an 32,000 SQFT addition and 20,000 SQFT renovation of the Greene County (Indiana) Jail. Work included the modification of existing roof top units for the existing building and design of air handlers and roof top units for the addition. Project included hot water boilers and hydronic piping systems for heating and VAV reheat systems. Main facility air handlers were designed as 100% outdoor air with energy recovery. The pods were designed for full smoke exhaust and controls to limit cross contamination between holding cells.
