Boston Scientific needed to expand to meet their Spencer, Indiana growth needs. The Boston Scientific Project Rejuvenate included both new construction and renovation of existing spaces. The new expansion building was designed with a first-class facility exterior more in line with medical device manufacturing facilities. The two-story building was approximately 116,000 SQFT with offices, conference rooms, and reception. A marketplace with fitness center and multi-purpose rooms and a separate warehouse was also part of the facility. AEC-ME was responsible for design of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. The total construction budget was approximately $22.5M.
