This 30,000 SQFT Psychiatric Hospital renovation included rehabing an existing building and transforming it into a Mental Health facility. Renovation included patient rooms, nurse station, lab/chart space, and activity spaces for the residents. Additional space included conference rooms, offices, reception area, and secured entrances. AEC-ME prepared construction documents for new HVAC system with hospital grade air handling units, new LED lighting, new essential diesel generator, plumbing, and technology systems, fire alarm system, and support for a nurse call system and access control system. Construction costs were estimated at $5M.
