AEC-ME was retained to provide mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design services for the Purdue Hicks Undergraduate Library Renovation.

The project involved relocating HVAC lines to accommodate ceiling changes, upgrading interior power and telecommunication systems, adjustments to the fire protection system to accommodate ceiling changes, and the removal/addition of plumbing fixtures and systems. The basis of design for the electrical and mechanical systems emphasized safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
