This project consists of the construction of a four-story, 103,719 SQ FT facility with approximately 140 bedroom and studio units. In addition to the living units, the facility includes fitness and therapy areas, nurse stations, community gather areas, general store, library, theater, administrative areas, reception, business offices, a kitchen, and open and private dining areas. Construction cost is estimated to be approx. $13.5M.

AEC was responsible for the design of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems. The assisted living units are conditioned by air-cooled personal temperature air conditioners (PTAC) while the independent living units are conditioned through residential split systems with heat pump on roof and furnace with auxiliary electric heating coil within the space. Additional PTACs are provided for the offices and amenity spaces.
